Roz's interest in beading began
in 1982, when she started adding beaded straps to her knitted camisole
designs for her first American Craft Council juried craft show in
Baltimore, MD. Throughout the 1980's, as a resident of artist of
the Farmington Valley Arts Center in Avon, CT, Roz taught classes
and workshops in color theory and design. In 2003, Roz visited her
local bead shop"Horse Feathers" in Campobello, SC and
was immediately and totally hooked on seed beading. Using the same
principal of design employed in her knitwear, Roz has spent the
last three years exploring the use of color and texture in her beadwork.
She loves sharing her enthusiasm for beading with others and is
a frequent teacher at Horse Feathers.
