the U.S. As Director of Education for PMC Connection, she has written
the core curriculum for their Certification program. Ken concentrates
on making chains and the use of silver clay for the creation of
jewelry. Both Mary Ann and Ken have taught jewelry design and creation
around the U.S., as well as in Canada, Europe, South Africa, Australia
and Japan. Their first book, Introduction to Precious Metal Clay,
was published in 2002 by Wardell Publications. Their second book,
Precious Metal Clay in Mixed Media, was released in 2004.
Both are in their third printing. Mary Ann and Ken believe in making
an effort toward continual growth through education. Questions about
their class may be e-mailed to them at pmcconnection@aol.com
CLASS DESCRIPTION
PMC Level I
Imagine the ability to form silver
using only your hands and a few simple tools. With Precious Metal
Clay, a student can mold silver to a shape within a short time and
create a work in solid, pure silver. It is possible to combine PMC3
with gemstones, ceramics, glass, and many other heat-tolerant materials.

clay, paste, syringe, and sheet. The students will receive step-by-step
instructions on the creation of eight PMC projects.
LAB FEE: Class kits contain all
of the PMC supplies and hand tools needed to complete this workshop.
